Kia ora WordPress whānau,

Being in lockdown (here in Aotearoa, New Zealand) has meant plenty of time to write. But this does feel like a mixed blessing, knowing that many people are seriously struggling with the isolation. On that note, reading my work seems like a positive way I can reach out to others.

Last week I had the pleasure of being invited to read by Dunedin City of Literature, for the UNESCO weRculture campaign on Instagram. Below are the links for this, and my other recent video readings.

Quiet (as published in ‘then the wind came’) https://www.instagram.com/tv/B-v9sR6gNsG/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Hands (as published in Flash Frontier, Bonsai, and ‘then the wind came’) https://www.facebook.com/IonaWinter11/videos/698708234270532/

Swallows (as published in Bath Flash Fiction Anthology ‘with one eye on the cows’) https://www.facebook.com/IonaWinter11/videos/520056032025759/

Stay well, be kind to yourselves and one another,

Iona x
