Over the next wee while I’ll be promoting the work of other writers, mostly from Aotearoa New Zealand. These are people who are possibly lesser known, but have valuable voices in our writing community. I also see this as another way of getting our wonderful work out there in the world, by sharing the aroha.

Duncan Eddy is from Pūrākaunui, Dunedin, Aotearoa New Zealand. He writes children’s books, poetry and non-fiction. This year he’s published two books in his series ‘Junkyard Sam’. Junkyard Sam and the Pretty Much Dried Up Sea, and Junkyard Sam and The Massive Ongoing Drama. IMG_6820

He has 50 first edition, individually numbered and signed books for sale (ages 5 – 10). $15 each or both books for $25. To order them you can email Duncan at: duncaneddy@yahoo.com

He comments: “The kids who I want to read this book will soon be too old for this type of silly nonsense, so it’s good to have it out there…and maybe it will end up in the hands of a talented illustrator who can help me out with the second edition.”
