Four months on and I’m delighted to report that then the wind came is making an appearance on library shelves, in bookstores, and on loved ones bookshelves too.
Mission accomplished…getting her out into the world and people’s hands. It still feels surreal, the fact that I’ve had an actual book of hybrid poetry and fiction published. Even more so, that people are engaging with the kupu (words) and me.
There are a few events coming up in May, for those based in Te Waipounamu (the South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand).
May 2nd – Meet the Neighbours – Blueskin Bay Library, Waitati, Dunedin 7pm
May 12th – Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival – Short, Shorter, Shortest 4.30pm
May 21st – National Book Night
If you’d like a copy of then the wind came, I have a few spares (if you’re after a signed one). Otherwise you can order online via my publisher Steele Roberts Aotearoa http://steeleroberts.co.nz/product/then-the-wind-came/
